Roofing in Jacksonville Beach and the Towns Next Door

We replace, repair and inspect roofs in Jacksonville Beach and the nearby towns. Every job gets the right permit from the right office, and we stay on it until the final inspection passes. You get a roof that is done to code and on record.

The Towns We Cover

Most of our work is in Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic Beach and Neptune Beach. We also work in Palm Valley, Sawgrass and Nocatee. For an address a little past those towns, give us a ring. We will say plainly whether we can take the job.

Each of these places sends permits through its own city or county office. The forms, fees and inspection steps are not all the same. We know which office handles your address, we pull the permit in our name, and we schedule the inspections. You do not have to stand in line or guess what the inspector wants to see.

What Shapes Roof Work Out Here

  1. 01

Permits and the Florida Building Code

Florida requires a permit for a reroof and for many repairs. The state code sets rules for underlayment, nailing patterns, drip edge and wind ratings. How much of a roof is damaged can also decide whether code calls for a full replacement of that section. We explain which rule applies to your roof before we price it, so the scope is right the first time.

  2. 02

    Salt air

Near the ocean, salt eats at nails, flashing and metal edges faster than it does inland. We use fasteners and flashing made to hold up in salt air, and we check those parts closely on every inspection.

  3. 03

    Storm season

Hurricane season runs June through November, and summer afternoons bring hard rain and wind. That is when weak flashing and loose shingles turn into leaks. Once the weather clears, our post-storm inspections cost you nothing, and we photograph what we find. When there is a claim, we work directly with your insurance adjuster so nothing on the roof gets left out of the report.

  4. 04

    Older homes and newer neighborhoods

The area has older homes near the water and newer subdivisions farther inland. Older roofs can hide rotted decking or past patches. Newer neighborhoods often have an HOA that must approve colors and materials. We sort out both before work starts.

  5. 05

    Gutters and drainage

Heavy rain comes fast here. Gutters that are clogged or pitched wrong push water back under roof edges and against your home. We check them with every roof job and handle gutters on their own too.
